Quella Cognitus: Interface Features

The user interface of Quella Cognitus has been designed as a classical Windows MDI. MDI stands for Multiple Document Interface and allows users to manage multiple windows or documents within the same working space.

The feature list displayed below is not exhaustive and is only intended to give an understanding of the core functionality available to the users of Quella Cognitus.

File Log

Quella Cognitus File Log

Quella Cognitus logs every file it opens. The advantage of this is that the user does not have to look for the same files over and over again every time a file is going to be used. This logging is done automatically and cannot be turned off. However, it is possible to delete specific elements in the log or the entire log if necessary. The maximum possible number of entries in the File Log is 200. When this number is reached, the oldest log entries are deleted and replaced by the new entries.

Interface Options

Quella Cognitus Interface Options

There are two important interface options that can make your work easier when using Quella Cognitus. The first is the language of the interface and the second is the default location of your files.

Quella Cognitus provides several languages to choose from so that users can set the language of the graphical interface to the one they feel most comfortable with. The language change is instantaneous and does not require re-starting the application or installing additional files.

Users can also define a default file location. The entered location is used as default when opening, saving or creating new files.
