Quella Cognitus delivers three types of reports: Cube or OLAP-reports, List Reports and Chart Reports.

The user interface is very similar to simple Pivot Tables, but OLAP-reports are infinitely more powerful in terms of the amount of data that can be processed and in the way data can be analysed. OLAP-reports allow decision makers to interactively summarise, slice and filter data. By drag-and-drop operations, data can easily be presented from different perspectives giving users new insights and knowledge. Decision makers have in this way total control on how they want to see the information they receive and on the perspective they want to take in the analysis. List Reports are an advanced form of Data Grid very similar to any commercial spreadsheet. Information in a List Report can be sorted, filtered, formatted and exported. Sorting and filtering help decision makers to rapidly make simple analyses. Through the rich set of formatting functions, users can create very appealing reports that look very good both on screen and on paper. Information can also be easily shared with users without Quella Cognitus by exporting data to popular file formats like Excel, Text Files, HTML, XML, etc. Furthermore, it supports calculations with more than 100 mathematical, financial and logical functions which represent a great contribution to the analysis task.

To help data visualisation, several types of Charts are available for OLAP-reports. These can be saved as Quella Cognitus Charts so that to be open only with Quella Cognitus, as pictures or directly copied and pasted to any other Windows application.
